A: The TRCN–DFICU Center is a professional platform under DFICU Universities that helps candidates prepare for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE), secure licensing, and access global teaching opportunities.
A: Any graduate of education or related fields, NCE holders, and individuals aspiring to build a professional teaching career can register. DFICU also supports international candidates seeking global equivalence.
A: Registration is done at the DFICU Center. You will be guided through filling TRCN forms, document verification, payment, and enrollment into DFICU’s PQE preparatory program.
A: You will need:
Academic certificates (NCE, B.Ed., M.Ed. PhD in Education or non education qualification combined with any of NCE, PGDE, PDE)
Passport photographs
Means of identification (National ID, Voter’s Card, Passport, or Driver’s License).
A: Fees vary by qualification level grouped into categories ((D)-NCE, (C)-B.Ed., (B)-M.Ed., (A)-PhD). DFICU will provide a current fee schedule during registration and guide you on payment through the TRCN-approved channels.

A: The TRCN conducts PQE periodically on May and November. Although, they may have institutional and or diaspora exams conducted at there discretion. DFICU provides early updates, reminders, and preparatory schedules so candidates do not miss deadlines.
A: Successful candidates are inducted into the teaching profession, awarded a TRCN certificate, and issued a professional license to practice as certified teachers in Nigeria and abroad.
